Future Nursing is a speculative design project about recruiting and retaining nurses in the Danish–German region. Through a short film, we imagine a future where automated blood tests reduce waiting times but struggle to respond to a patient’s need for human contact. The unsettling moment is intentional: it invites discussion about which tasks robots should perform, where nurses’ time matters most, and what care could become if efficiency takes priority over empathy.
