In this episode, we travel back in time to a beautiful sunny day in summer 2020, when people were enjoying a chilled Sunday at Reffen, Copenhagen's Street Food Market. Caroline visited an event that turned around a topic that many SEM students find interesting and have been doing semester projects on: the Circular Economy. She got the chance to talk with the two of the organizers, Dina from Repairfect and Lukasz from Mellow Design, who explained why they do what they do. They spoke about the event and, more importantly, how we can implement circularity in our everyday lives and narrow down the bigger picture to something tangible everyone enjoys being a part of.
Irene and Caroline will provide you with a general introduction to Circular Economy. They both did projects about Circular Economy during their Master studies, one about social value creation within the Circular Economy and the other one about Challenges in up-cycling fashion brands, so please reach out if you are interested.
